Front-End Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinder
Tie rod hydraulic cylinders are robust and versatile components used in various industrial and agricultural applications. They consist of a cylinder barrel, piston, piston rod, and end caps connected by tie rods. These tie rod hydraulic cylinders are known for their durability, ease of service and repair due to the tie-rod design, and ability to withstand high pressure. Suitable for diverse applications, they come in various sizes and can be customized to meet specific requirements.

Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinder for Front-End Dump Trailer Lifting
A front-end telescopic cylinder is installed between the trailer chassis and the front section of the dump body. When hydraulic pressure is supplied, the telescopic stages extend progressively and raise the dump body around its rear pivot point.
Compared with a conventional single-stage hydraulic cylinder, a telescopic cylinder provides a much longer effective stroke while maintaining a relatively short retracted length. This makes it suitable for dump trailers where the available mounting space is limited but a large lifting height and dumping angle are required.
AiSoar supplies standard dump trailer telescopic cylinders and develops customized cylinders according to trailer drawings, installation dimensions, existing cylinder samples or replacement requirements.
Key Product Advantages
Long Stroke with Compact Installation
The multi-stage cylinder structure provides a long total stroke without requiring the same installation length as a conventional single-stage cylinder.
Designed for Front-End Mounting
The cylinder is designed for installation near the front of the dump body, helping the trailer achieve an efficient lifting geometry and unloading angle.
Progressive Telescopic Extension
The cylinder stages extend progressively during operation, providing controlled movement throughout the lifting cycle.
Standard and Custom Models
Choose from standard 78, 90, 108, 120 and 144-inch stroke models, or request a cylinder designed around your trailer structure.
Replacement Cylinder Solutions
Replacement cylinders can be developed according to an existing model number, dimensional drawing, installation measurements or physical sample.
OEM Manufacturing Support
Custom cylinders are available for dump trailer manufacturers, hydraulic system integrators, distributors and replacement-parts suppliers.

Production Processes
How We Produce TR Hydraulic Cylinders
Machining
Tie rod hydraulic cylinders machined by turning and milling compound centers of Mazac and Dawei, the tolerance and accuracy of each parts will be good and stable.

Cleaning
Each parts of the tie rod hydraulic cylinders, will be cleaned by Ultrasonic cleaner.

Assembling
After all the pieces and components have been inspected and their cleanliness has been checked, the actual tie rod hydraulic cylinder assembly process can start.
- Gather all parts including cylinder barrel, end caps, piston, piston rod, seals, and tie rods.
- Attach the piston to the piston rod and secure it. Install seals onto the piston.
- Carefully slide the piston and rod assembly into the cylinder barrel.
- Secure the end caps to the cylinder barrel using tie rods. Ensure they are aligned properly.
- Install appropriate seals and perform a pressure test to ensure there are no leaks and the cylinder operates correctly.

Inspecting
Various precision inspection equipment is applied in the quality control, so we have 100% detection capability and traceability.

Testing
1.The Salty Testing Machine test the chrome plated rod and to see the capacity for the anti-corrosion performance.
2.Making the 72 or 96 hours for the testing, we can make it longer according to customers special requirement.

Painting
1.Painting the undercoat, normally it takes one day to dry.
2.Painting the finish painting.
We have our own standard painting color, and thickness of painting is 40 microns.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
We’ll try to answer some of your questions
A:AiSoar TR series tie-rod hydraulic cylinders have been widely used in agricultural, trailer and loader industry. For agricultural equipment, trailer, loader, generally include the lift moving system, the hydraulic cylinder should be fixed into positon, then to move in the shape of an arc during extension and retraction. The TR cylinders with clevis mounted, are typically a good solution in the applications.

A: 1″ pin hole for bore size 1″~4″, and 1.25″ pin hole for bore size 5″.
A: Yes, it’s a rebuild-able cylinder and we do offer repair kits. Tie rod type is easy to repair.
A: Retracted length from center pin to center pin, we also call out min. length or closed length. Extended length is the retracted on centers plus the stroke, we also call out max. length or open length.
A:Rigid quality standards & control on raw materialsare always implemented in AiSoar hydraulics. We have really stable suppliers with long-term cooperative relationship. We inspection for each batch of incoming goods, and review our supplier quality performance by year.
A:Firstly, We should determine the technical parameter first: bore size, rod size, stroke, working pressure, required force (Column Load).
How to Measure Hydraulic Cylinder

Secondly, check the drawings’sizes carefully, especially the mounting sizes, include the distance of clevis, gland port location as below pic shows, and etc.

(Port location determined from viewing cylinder from base end)
Others information: Port style and size, painting, clevis pin installation and retainer options, package.

Aisoar Hydraulic Cylinders Catalogue
