In general, there are two types of hydraulic cylinder oil leakage: external oil leakage and internal oil leakage.
一. External Oil Leakage
1. The seal between the extension end of the cylinder rod and the cylinder rod is damaged.
2. The seal between the extension end of the cylinder rod and the cylinder tube is damaged.
This is mostly caused by the aging of the seal due to long-term use of the seal; There are also many cases where the upper end cap is squeezed and damaged by excessive force
3. Cracks in the hydraulic cylinder inlet and outlet tubing joints will also cause the hydraulic cylinder to leak.
4. Oil leakage caused by defects on the cylinder tube or on the cylinder end cover.
5. The cylinder rod is strained and has grooves, pits, etc.
6. The deterioration of lubricating oil makes the temperature of the hydraulic cylinder rise abnormally, which promotes the aging of the sealing ring.
7. Oil leakage caused by frequently exceeding the pressure range of the hydraulic cylinder.
二. Internal Oil Leakage
1. The wear ring on the piston is severely worn, causing friction between the piston and the cylinder tube, and finally straining the cylinder tube, piston and seal.
2. The seal fails for a long time, and the piston seal (U, V, Y ring, etc.) is aging.
3. The hydraulic oil is dirty. Large amount of impurities into the cylinder to the piston seal wear bad, typically iron or other foreign matter.
